Inserto dentro de la actual torre, se conserva la mayor parte del alminar andalus\u00ed, construido por Abd al-Rahman III y que permaneci\u00f3 inalterado hasta el Renacimiento, cuando se le a\u00f1adi\u00f3 el cuerpo de campanas. <\/p>\n\n

Posteriormente, problemas de estabilidad obligaron a enfundar el alminar \u00e1rabe en una construcci\u00f3n m\u00e1s robusta a mediados del siglo XVII.
