Judios street runs parallel to the city wall from the Almodovar gate and is one of the main streets in the Jewish quarter. There are semi-circular grooves cut into the wall about half a metre from ground level, especially near the Synagogue, which would have been to facilitate the passage of carriages down the narrow street.
