The Casa de los Ceas, built in the 15th century, must have been one of the best examples of Mudejar civil architecture in the city.
It was popularly known as the House of the Indiano, after being acquired in the 18th century by Don Juan Cosme on his return from the Americas. Of the medieval construction, only the façade remains, in which a mixture of Gothic and Mudejar elements can be seen. Like many other palatial houses, the interior was demolished and converted into flats in the 1970s, and only the main façade has been preserved.
